RVNL-KRDCL (JV) secures signalling contract from Southern Railway for Ernakulam-Vallattol Nagar section

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) and Kerala Rail Development Corporation Ltd. (KRDCL) have clinched a significant contract from Southern Railway worth approximately Rs. 156 Crores. The contract includes automatic signalling work on Ernakulam JN(ERS) – Vallattol Nagar(VTK) Section of Thiruvananthapuram Division.

The joint venture of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) and Kerala Rail Development Corporation Ltd. (KRDCL) have emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from Southern Railway worth around Rs. 156 Crores order for “Automatic Signalling on Ernakulam JN(ERS) – Vallattol Nagar (VTK) Section on B-Route of Thiruvananthapuram Division.”

  • Broad consideration or size of the order(s)/contract(s) is: INR 156,47,03,304.52/-
  • The Share of each member in the JV is as follows: KRDCL: 51% (Lead Member) – RVNL: 49% (Other Member).
