Professional Background & Education:
- Shri Singh holds a Postgraduate degree in Public Policy and Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, and Syracuse University, New York.
- Additionally, he has an MBA in Marketing Management from IGNOU, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga.
- Apart from his professional qualifications, he is also a certified Yoga Teacher from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA), Bangalore.
- Belonging to the 1995 Exam Batch of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), he has garnered extensive experience across various domains in Indian Railways, including Operations, Commercial Management, Marketing & Business Development, Vigilance, General Administration, and Training & Development. His expertise spans multiple zonal railways and premier institutes.
CONCOR & Railway Experience:
Having previously worked with CONCOR during his deputation as Group General Manager (Commercial & Operations) for five years, he played a key role in business operations across Northern and Eastern regions. Before joining the Civil Services, he briefly worked with Tata Steel, Jamshedpur, in production and training units.
International & Leadership Training:
He has undergone professional training at several prestigious institutions, including the Iclif Leadership and Governance Centre, Malaysia; INSEAD, Singapore; APEC-Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Centre, Belgium; and leading Indian institutes such as IIM Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow. Additionally, he is a Master Trainer in Ethics, Public Governance, and Leadership under the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Government of India.
