Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) secures the lowest bidder position for a critical upgrade of the electric traction system in the Gomoh-Patratu section of the Dhanbad Division, East Central Railway. The Rs. 186.77 crore project involves upgrading to a 2×25 KV AT feeding system and will be completed in 540 days.
Scope of Work:
RVNL will be responsible for the comprehensive execution of the project, covering design, procurement, installation, and testing phases. The upgrade to a 2×25 KV AT feeding system is expected to provide a more robust and efficient power supply, critical for the seamless operation of electric locomotives in the section.
