This order involves maintenance of metro infrastructure for Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1 project.

The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) has awarded a substantial contract to M/s Buildrite Constructions. This contract encompasses the maintenance of the metro infrastructure such as metro stations, viaducts, depot and RSS for the Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1 project, underscoring MMRCL’s commitment to enhancing commuter experience and supporting the region’s urban transportation needs.
Brief about the Tender/Order:
- Tender Number: NM1-C-21(R)/2024
- Name of Work: Maintenance of 11 nos. Metro Stations, 11.1 Km Viaduct and Taloja Depot and Two Receiving Sub Stations (R.S.S.) of Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1.
- Maintenance Period is: 12 Months.
- Broad consideration or size of the order(s)/contract(s) is: Rs. 1,49,38,345/-
Scope of Work for the Contractor:
- Rectification of defects observed in station buildings, depot and Viaduct Structure.
- Attending rectification of wall plaster and floors.
- Internal painting and external painting etc. if required.
- Occasional replacement of water supply fittings/sanitary fixtures.
- Attending rectification of doors and windows due to malfunctioning of fittings.
- Occasional replacement of broken glass panels of doors and windows if required.
- Cleaning of viaduct including sweeping, removing and cleaning dust/debris/garbage, cleaning of drainage pipes at track plinth, cleaning of drainage spouts, uprooting of vegetation, grass etc., including disposal of dust/debris/garbage collected from viaduct of main line and depot approach line.
- Clearing, cleaning, uprooting of vegetation, grass, shrubs etc. including disposal of same and supply and spraying of weedicide chemical for killing entire weeds in Taloja depot and allied buildings/premises of Metro excluding Metro stations.
- Removal, cleaning and uprooting of vegetation/grass at pier protection including disposal for the entire viaduct along the road.
- Cleaning of Underground and Elevated water tanks at 11 stations and Taloja depot.
- Supply of potable water by water tanker of 10,000 Lts. Capacity at Taloja Metro Depot and stations.
- Agency shall maintain Manpower Muster Roll & Wage Register.
- Agency shall provide Identity Cards, Name bearing Plates etc. to every deployed Staff.
- All Tools & tackles, Plants, machineries, equipment and materials required to carry out the Civil work at site shall be provided by the Agency at his own cost.
- The Agency shall provide Manager/Engineer/Supervisor’s name to be contacted with Telephone Nos, in case in emergency or urgent work required.
- The agency shall be responsible to depute their engineer incharge/supervisor on the working site.
- The agency shall use materials approved by Maha Metro as per norms and quality mentioned for maintenance work.
- The agency should ensure all safety precautions for its labourers.
- Engineer In-charge (EIC) shall issue directions in writing for commencement to execute the work as per Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- The said work should be completed within the scheduled time as per directives issued to the Contractor by the Engineer In-charge (EIC).
