Accompanied by senior Metro and RVNL officials, he assessed project progress and strategies to meet deadlines across key stations and the New Town Depot.
Introduction:
An inspection of the Orange Line stretch between Jai Hind Bimanbandar and Biswa Bangla Convention Centre Metro stations was conducted by Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager of Metro Railway. The inspection was done to review the progress of ongoing metro construction and ensure timely project completion.
Senior officials from Metro Railway and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) joined him during this site visit, underscoring the significance of coordinated efforts in fast-tracking the Orange Line development.
At Jai Hind Bimanbandar Metro Station, officials briefed Shri Reddy about the ongoing works and presented their roadmap to complete all remaining tasks within the scheduled timeframe.
Following this, the General Manager visited other critical points on the corridor, including the under-construction New Town Depot, Mother’s Wax Museum Station, and Biswa Bangla Convention Centre Station, where he reviewed site activities and encouraged teams to maintain the momentum.
