Kochi Metro Phase II construction begins with first working pile at Cochin SEZ station

Kochi Metro Phase II begins construction as Hon’ble Minister Shri P. Rajeeve inaugurates the first working pile at Cochin SEZ station. With AIIB’s $122.32 million loan and a contract awarded to Afcons Infrastructure Ltd., the 11.17 km stretch aims to revolutionise urban mobility from JLN Stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad.

The Union Cabinet approved the Kochi Metro Rail Phase II project, connecting JLN Stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad.
