The Kanpur Metro project advances as tunnel construction is set to begin on the 4.10 km ‘downline’ of the Rawatpur-Double Pulia underground section under Corridor-2 (CSA–Barra-8). - Alignment Details, Key Connectivity Points: The alignment begins at Agriculture University, extending south along VIP Road and passing through critical locations such as the UPSRTC workshop, Mathura-Kanpur railway tracks, and R.S. Puram. The route culminates at Rawatpur, a pivotal integration hub that will facilitate future northward extensions and seamless connectivity with Corridor-1.
