The project worth Rs. 127.8 crore includes the design and commissioning of Microprocessor-based Electronic Interlocking systems and Automatic Block Signalling across 20 stations. The contract is to be executed within 24 months.
Contract Overview:
The Signalling & Telecommunication (Construction) wing of North Western Railway, under Indian Railways, has awarded a major signalling project to Ircon International Limited. The scope includes comprehensive work on modern signalling systems across the Ajmer Division.
Scope of Work:
- Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Microprocessor-based Electronic Interlocking (EI) systems with inbuilt Block Instruments compliant with RDSO specifications.
- Implementation across 20 stations of the Ajmer Division.
- Deployment of Automatic Block Signalling systems and other related indoor and outdoor signalling & telecom gears.

- Execution Timeline: 24 months from the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA)
