The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) has awarded a contract worth Rs. 98,25,000 to Growever Infra Pvt. Ltd. for Detailed Design Consultancy (DDC) services. The project covers the development of 2.65 hectares of land in Bhopal and 1 hectare in Indore, focusing on architectural, civil, geotechnical, and structural designs for metro infrastructure.
Project Objectives:
The main objectives include achieving economy, durability, environmental sustainability, and occupant comfort while adopting state-of-the-art technologies. The designs aim to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality or safety, providing MPMRCL with cutting-edge solutions for its metro rail infrastructure.
The Contractor is Responsible for:
- Comprehensive Design Services: The DDC will provide detailed consultancy for architectural, civil, geotechnical, and structural designs, including building components, water supply, drainage, sanitary systems, HVAC, and external site development such as landscaping and horticulture.
- Topographical and Geotechnical Investigations: The DDC will perform topographical surveys and geotechnical investigations to inform design decisions and ensure the suitability of the site for development.
- Preparation of Tender Documents: The DDC will prepare detailed tender documents, including specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and relevant designs, ensuring all project requirements are met for competitive bidding.
- Compliance and Approvals: The DDC is responsible for obtaining necessary approvals from local bodies, including fire and occupancy certificates, ensuring all statutory requirements are met for project execution.
- Construction Support and Interface Management: The DDC will provide construction support and ensure proper interfacing between various design components (e.g., architectural, structural, and MEP systems) during the execution phase.
