BMRCL awards Rs. 45.31 crore gearless elevator contract to OTIS India for Phase-2A & 2B metro stations

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has awarded OTIS Elevator Company (India) Ltd. a Rs. 45.31 crore contract for the design, supply, and commissioning of machine room-less gearless elevators across Phase-2A and Phase-2B stations, including 10 years of CAMC following the 2-year Defect Liability Period.


Project Overview:

In a significant step, BMRCL continues its infrastructure push by enhancing accessibility at upcoming metro stations in Phase 2A and Phase 2B, which are part of the Outer Ring Road and Airport corridors of the Bangalore Metro.

  • Testing & commissioning
  • Integrated testing and commissioning
  • 10-year Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) post 2-year Defect Liability Period (DLP)
