Bangalore Metro Phase-3A: Karnataka cabinet approves Rs. 28,405 crore Sarjapur-Hebbal metro corridor

In a landmark decision, the Karnataka Cabinet has approved the 36.59 km Sarjapur-Hebbal metro corridor under Phase-3A of Bengaluru Metro. With 14 underground and 15 elevated stations, the Rs. 28,405 crore project aims to enhance connectivity and ease urban transportation in Bengaluru, led by the visionary efforts of CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar.


Leadership and Acknowledgment:

The approval comes under the leadership of Karnataka’s Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister Shri DK Shivakumar, whose commitment to urban development has been instrumental in driving the metro expansion. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) extended its gratitude to the state government for its support and visionary approach to improving public transport infrastructure.
