Aurionpro Solutions Limited has secured a contract from MMRC for the upgradation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1. The scope includes design, supply, testing, and commissioning of advanced fare collection solutions, ensuring seamless operations and scalability. The project is valued at Rs. 8.99 crore and will be completed in six months.
Scope of Work:
AFC System Upgradation:
- Re-engineering and upgradation of existing station AFC components, including Automatic Gates (AG), Ticket Office Machines (TOMs), and central systems.
- Enabling support for Contactless Smart Cards (Type A), NCMC, QR-based tickets, NFC, and web-based ticketing.
- Implementation of a Central Computer System (CCS) integrated with Acquirer Bank for seamless operations and data distribution.
Scalability and Interoperability:
- Support for a fare table of 512 stations and 64 fare zones.
- Future scalability for additional lines, stations, and smart cards.
- Interoperability as per NPCI and MoHUA guidelines.
- Provision for mobile and web applications for ticketing, grievance redressal, and maintenance.
- Ensuring uninterrupted revenue operations during upgradation. Responsibility for restoring any affected infrastructure during engineering work.
