Vaibhav Construction & Modern Engineering Associates JV wins Rs. 11.61 crore civil works contract for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has awarded a Rs. 11.61 crore contract to Vaibhav Construction and Modern Engineering Associates JV for civil and architectural works at stations between Meerut South and Shatabdi Nagar. The project, part of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor, is set for completion within 180 days.


Scope of Work Highlights:

  • Ground Development: Construction of roads, footpaths, drainage systems, kerb stones, and paver blocks.
  • Civil Works: RCC construction, masonry, laying of bituminous concrete, and granular sub-base.
  • Architectural Finishing: Installation of platform screen doors, dummy glasses, retroreflective sheets, and SS railings.
  • Drainage Systems: Laying RCC pipes, manhole construction, and sewerage work.
  • Miscellaneous: Demolition waste management, statutory approvals, submission of as-built drawings, and ensuring SHE compliance.
  • Coordination: Close interface with various agencies, including NHAI, PWD, and traffic departments, to minimize disruption.

Execution Plan:

The contractor will deploy skilled labor, precise instruments, and high-quality materials to ensure structural stability and safety during and after construction. Stringent quality assurance measures and adherence to technical specifications will guide the project’s execution. NCRTC will closely monitor the progress, with the possibility of an independent quality agency being appointed.
