Shri. Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, Lucknow Metro today reviewed the finishing work of KD Singh Babu Stadium and Badshahnagar Metro Stations. During his visit, he took special consideration of the Portals and Cantilever Pier Caps which are installed on the route of LMRC’s Balance section (KD Singh Babu from Munshipuliya) and ensured that the metro journey for commuters will be blissful. The civil construction work of these metro stations is in the final stage of completion.
There are several portals and cantilever pier caps from KD Singh Babu Metro Station to Munshipuliya, to maintain balance on many winding turns in the route of the Rolling Stock. Passing through these portals and cantilever pier caps,
The rolling stock will move on the lower level of the defined speed which can be seen while passing through the IT intersection, which has the balance section here is the most curved twist. On this route, the Metro train will pass through the highest metro span near the kukrail elevated section.
On the other hand, Managing Director reviewed the ticket counters at the concourse level of KD Singh Babu Metro Station along with the testing work of lifts and escalators.
Managing Director then inspected the Badshah Nagar Metro Station where the entrance and exit work has been finished and the construction work inside the station is also in the final stages.
The concourse area of the Badshah Nagar Metro Station is the most elaborate than any other metro stations in the balance section. The reason behind this is that in future, this metro station is planned to be connected to Badshah Nagar Metro Station.
