The test operation successfully completed on Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service. The Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service, which is the only line linking India with Nepal underwent a successful test operation on Wednesday evening.

  • The test operation was completed on wednesday, in an optimism of resuming the operation of Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service.
  • The Indian side took the initiative to resume the operation of the train service on Janakpur-Jayanagar line.
  • A railway engine with 53 bogies reached the Khajuri station smoothly throughout the journey.
  • The test operation covered a distance of 8.5 km from Jayanagar in Nepal to Khajuri in India.
