Pune: 5.1 hectares land has been alloted by Maharashtra to develope 3rd Metro line in Pune. The land price is Rs 153 crore and the land has alloted as a part of the states share in cost of project.
The Maharashtra cabinet has decided to allot the 5.6 hectares land in order to construct the 3rd Metro line in Pune.
The government land that has alloted is situated at Balewadi near Pune for the Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar stretch of Pune Metro
The market price of the land is Rs 153 crore and the land is being alloted as a part of the state’s share in cost of project
The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) is implementing 23.33-km third Metro line from Pune’s IT hub at Hinjewadi to central Pune which worth Rs. 8,000-crore
It was in queue with land acquire strategy with commercial possibilities and raise funds through monetisation of land, Kiran Gitte (PMRDA metropolitan commissioner) said.
Already, the PMRDA has raised Rs 21 crore through land auctions and their aim was to raise Rs 250 crore by end of the year.
