New Delhi: A national-level art camp-cum-workshop organised by the DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) in north-east Delhi’s Shastri Park ended on Tuesday.
The 3 day event was held at the newly inaugurated Prakriti Metro Park.
The Event was organised in association with Master Sansar Chand Baru Trust (MSCBT), Jammu.
- Approx 30 paintings were put up for display to spread awareness about Indian cultural heritage at the workshop.
- The paintings have been produced by 15 artists belonging to various States & will be exhibited at various metro stations in the city.
- Participation certificates were handed out to these artists by DMRC director (operations) Sharat Sharma, on Tuesday.
- In its efforts to promote art, the DMRC has previously associated itself with government organisations such as the Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Delhi Tourism, & India Habitat Centre.
