Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed confidence that the work on both the Andheri (East) to Dahisar (East) Metro-7 and Dahisar to DN Nagar Metro-2A Metro rail projects is going on fast pace & both the routes will start before scheduled time.
“It is the speedy construction of the two Metro lines—Andheri (East) to Dahisar (East) Metro-7 and Dahisar to DN Nagar Metro-2A—that makes me happy. I am sure we will be able to deliver these two Metros to Mumbai sooner than expected,” Fadnavis said.
CM Reviewed Various Projects Implemented By MMRDA
The Chief Minister On Friday reviewed the various projects implemented by MMRDA at the MMRDA headquarters.

Work on the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC)-Chunabhatti elevated road connector will be completed in December 2018, he said.
“The Bandra-Kurla Complex-Chunabhatti Connector (four-lane, 1.7km flyover connecting BKC to the Eastern Express Highway) will be completed by December 2018. I have also asked MMRDA to speed up work for a flyover at Kalanagar junction,” Fadnavis said.
Earlier, MMRDA had set an April 2018 deadline for the BKC-Chunabhatti project.
On monorail phase-II, the CM said MMRDA has informed him that commercial operations on the route will begin by December 2017.
