The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor is set to offer advanced facilities at its stations, ensuring passenger comfort and safety. With the installation of the first escalators at Anand Station, a total of 90 energy-efficient escalators will be deployed across 12 stations, featuring cutting-edge safety measures like emergency stop buttons and dress guards.
Passenger Amenities:
Stations will include ticketing counters, waiting areas, business-class lounges, restrooms, nurseries, and retail centres. Advanced information systems and booths will also be available to assist passengers efficiently.
Escalator Installations:
The first escalators are being installed at Anand Bullet Train station, marking a significant milestone for the corridor. A total of 90 energy-efficient escalators will be installed across 12 stations—48 in Gujarat and 42 in Maharashtra.
Safety Features:
To ensure passenger safety, each escalator will be equipped with emergency stop buttons, handrail finger guard safety devices, and dress guards to prevent accidents involving clothing or accessories.
