Shri Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, LMRC inspected and reviewed the overall construction work of Sachivalaya Metro Station which is part of underground section of the North-South Metro corridor (Phase 1A).The construction work of staircase and escalators has been completed while the finishing of framework is in progress. The tiling work being done for the concourse and the platform area has also been completed with the aluminium composite panels being placed on the walls running along the tracks in the underground section.
The Managing Director expressed his satisfaction after observing the installation of lift and other related equipments being installed at the Metro Station. He also oversaw the progress of the work going on for equipment rooms pertaining to the operation of Metro train such as SCR (Station Control Room), TOM (Ticket Operating Machine), ASS (Auxiliary Sub Station), TER (Telecom Equipment Room), Emergency Equipment Room, CDMA & GSM Room, Fireman Staircase, DB Room, SER(Signaling Equipment Room) and Security Room.
During his inspection, it was also observed that the whitewashing and finishing of all these rooms is being done in tandem while the work of unpaid area of station entrance is also nearing completion. The placement work of false ceiling, installation and fitting of cable tray has been completed. The electrification and cabling works of all the rooms are however being done to complete it in an early fashion.
Shri Kumar Keshav felt quite satisfied and happy after reviewing the overall progress and development of construction and finishing related works of the Sachivalaya Metro Station.
