New Delhi: The Delhi Metro’s much-awaited Mundka to Bahadurgarh corridor is expected to be completed by December, this year.

  • According to the officials, one of the key features of the Line is that it will be a straight corridor. “The elevated corridor passing through the Rohtak Road will be more or less straight. It would have the least number of turns in the entire Metro network,” an official said.
  • The Detailed Project Report (DPR) submitted by the Metro authorities revealed that as many as 142,527 passengers will be using the new corridor, and the number will reach 197,160 by 2020.
  • After the completion of the corridor, the ride from the City Park station in Haryana to Mundka will take only 20 minutes, while till Inderlok and Kirti Nagar, the journey will take 45 minutes.
