New Delhi: Trial runs on Mundka-Bahadurgarh stretch of Delhi Metro are likely to begin in December. Once the 11.18-km line starts in June 2018, Bahadurgarh will be third Haryana town, after Gurugram & Faridabad, in the DMRC fold. “Once the section becomes operational, it will take just one hour to travel from Rajiv Chowk to Bahadurgarh metro station. It takes up to two hours via road,” a senior Delhi Metro Rail Corporation officer said.
The Mundka-Bahadurgarh metro corridor is an extension of the existing Inderlok-Mundka Corridor (Line-5).
It will be an elevated metro corridor along NH-10 (Rohtak Road).
The stretch will have a total of 7 stations, 4 in Delhi & 3 in Haryana.
