Delhi Metro Update: Safety inspection of Dilshad Garden to New Bus Adda section of Red Line on 5 February

New Delhi: The Dilshad Garden to New Bus Adda (9.4 km) section of Delhi Metro’s Red Line will be inspected for safety on 5 February, officials said on friday. This section will be an extension of the 25.09 kilometer Rithala-Dilshad Garden corridor and these Line having 21 stations.

  • A senior official said,”CMRS (Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety) S K Pathak will inspect the Dilshad Garden to New Bus Adda section of metro on February 5″
  • This 9.41 kilometer elevated section comprises 8 stations:
    • Shahid Nagar
    • Raj Bagh
    • Rajendra Nagar
    • Shyam Park
    • Mohan Nagar
    • Arthala
    • Hindon River Station
    • New Bus Adda
  • After the opening of this section, the DMRC network span will become 336.5 kilometer with 244 metro stations.
  • The DMRC present operational span is 327 kilometer with 236 stations.
