New Delhi: The Majlis Park- Durgabhai Deshmukh South Campus stretch of pink line of Delhi Metro likely to be thrown open for public later this week. Metro officials said on Sunday that the CMRS (Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety) completed inspection of the 20.6km long Majlis Park-Durgabhai Deshmukh South Campus section of Pink Line of Phase-3.
DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) is likely to receive the nod of CMRS within a few days after which the line will be opened for public, senior Metro officials said.
The section has 12 stations including four interchange stations- Azadpur, Netaji Subhash Place, Rajouri Garden and South campus.
Once fully operational, the line will connect all the 6 lines of Delhi Metro network.
