CMRS Shri Janak Kumar Garg carries out inspection of Ahmedabad Metro phase-2 section

Ahmedabad Metro Phase-II (RC-303) achieved a key milestone as CMRS inspection concluded successfully over 4.6 km from Sector-1 to Sachivalaya. Led by Chief Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety Shri Janak Kumar Garg, this marks a significant advancement in smart urban mobility, enhancing connectivity between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.


Project Overview & Corridor Inspected:

In a significant step, Ahmedabad Metro Phase-II, part of Gujarat’s expanding urban transit system, aims to improve connectivity between key administrative and commercial zones. The recent CMRS inspection was conducted on a 4.6-kilometer track stretch running between Sector-1 Station and Sachivalaya Station, forming a critical segment of this network.

Cumulative Progress Update:

With the successful completion of this segment, the cumulative CMRS-inspected length in Phase-II has reached 44 Track Kilometers. This is a significant leap towards full readiness of the project and represents consistent progress in line with scheduled milestones for metro expansion.

This milestone is a major step toward strengthening smart mobility infrastructure in Gujarat.
