Nagpur: At a high-level meeting at the “war room” Mantralaya in Mumbai on Wednesday, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was informed about Samrudhi Expressway and Metro Rail progress.
Regarding Metro project being constructed in Nagpur, Fadnavis directed officials concerned to expedite obtaining of requisite permissions & approvals.
Fadnavis sought speeding up of rehabilitation work under Gosikhurd, Bembla & Lower Wardha irrigation projects in Vidarbha, for the latter 2 projects each has been sanctioned Rs 150 crore (approx US$ 23.44 Million).
Also, land acquisition & critical activities related to Wardha-Nanded, Ahmednagar-Beed-Parli Vaijnath as well as Wadsa-Gadchiroli new railway lines were reviewed.
Also projects like Belapur-Seawoods-Uran new line, construction of 6th line between Mumbai Central & Borivali, projects under MUTP2 & 3 reviewed.
