New Delhi: The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd. (NCRTC) invites bids on Local Competitive Bidding (LCB) under single stage two packet system for Widening of Delhi -Meerut road from Duhai to Modi Nagar for Delhi- Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor.

Name of Work: Widening of Delhi-Meerut road from Duhai to Modi Nagar (Ch.33100 to 49300) for Delhi- Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor

Estimated Cost of Work : INR 30.79 Crore

Completion period of work : 08 months

Pre-bid Meeting : 17.12.2018 at 1100 Hrs

Bid submission start date: 08.01.2019 from 1100 Hrs

Bid submission end date: 15.01.2019 up to 1100 Hrs

Date & Time of opening of Bid (Technical Bid only) : 16.01.2019 at 1100 Hrs.

About Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor:

The ambitious 82 km long rapid rail project between Delhi and Meerut expected to be operational by 2023. The works related to the first corridor has already begun. Also, the tender process for various works is on a fast track. It aims to reduce the travel time between Delhi and Meerut to about an hour.

NCRTC is a Joint Venture of Government of India and State Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi, is mandated to design, construct, operate and maintain rail based RRTS (Regional Rapid Transit System) in the National Capital Region.

RRTS is a rail based high-speed transit system with a design speed of 180 kmph and an average speed of 100 kmph. Once operational, it will be the fastest, most comfortable and safest mode of commuter transport in NCR.
