Ashoka Buildcon’s JV Emerges Lowest Bidder for Rs 794 Crore Railway Project in Bihar and Jharkhand

Ashoka Buildcon on Tuesday announced its joint venture (JV) has emerged as the lowest bidder for Rs 794 crore railway project in Bihar and Jharkhand.

About the project:

  • Ashoka Buildcon said in a BSE filing,”The company has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1)…the aggregate bid value of which is Rs 794.20 crore.”
  • The completion period of project is 42 months for each package (total 2 packages).
  • The work in the project includes Construction of roadbed, bridges, supply of ballast, Installation of track (excluding supply of rails, and track sleepers), Electrical (General Electrification), Provision of OHE, Signaling and telecommunication works in connection with 3rd Line from Sonnagar to Garhwa Road in Dhanbad Division of East Central Railway, in the States of Bihar and Jharkhand (Project) in 2 packages (Package 1 & Package 2).
