Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metro Rail is planning to complete metro rail works on the Nagole-Hitech city corridor by December this year. Metro rail services avail from Nagole to Trident Hotel near Cyber towers by the end of the year for the passengers.
It is learned that construction works have been completed between Ameerpet-Hitech city stretch and signalling and electric works are being carried out.
NVS Reddy, Managing Director of HMR said that the trains at this stretch will be run on higher frequencies i.e, for every 3.5 minutes when compared to other corridors.
The Ameerpet-Hitech City 10 km line will be open from December while services on remaining 10 km between Jubilee Bus Station and MGBS will be launched mid-2019 .
To expedite the construction of 22 Metro pillars and viaduct beyond Hitech city station upto Trident hotel for creation of train reversal facility, Reddy recently advised the engineers to take up several activities in parallel mode.
