He played a critical role in restructuring HCC’s debt profile and executing complex non-core divestments, including the exit from the Steiner Group. These moves unlocked liquidity and allowed the company to refocus on its core strengths. He also led multiple equity raises, including QIPs and Rights Issues, reinforcing investor confidence.
Previously, as President & CEO of HCC Infrastructure, he managed over Rs. 7,000 crore worth of PPP/BOT infrastructure assets with high internal rate of returns (IRRs), supporting capital raising and asset monetization.

Shri Arjun Dhawan is actively involved in international and domestic industry platforms–

Before joining HCC, he built a successful career in investment management and banking. He held leadership positions at Arya Capital Management, Trellus Management, Banc of America Securities, and worked in New York with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston.
His domain expertise spans equity investment, distressed assets, leveraged finance, and M&A across diverse sectors.
